Yes, the option to get a Permanent residency in Australia is very possible after an MS from USyd.
The eligibility is to have a 2-year CRICOS-registered course and then receive a Temporary Graduate Visa (which is Subclass 485).
Then, the process moves forward by gaining some work experience and along with meeting the point-based criteria.

Vice Chancellor's Academic Excellence scholarships of Western Sydney Uni will cover 50% of the tuition fees for up to 3 years for UG courses and up to 2 years for PG courses. This scholarships leads to reduction in the tuition fees only. It does not cover the cost of living such as accommodation, transport, overseas student health cover, etc.

International students of the University of Western Sydney are automatically considered for International UAC Scholarship. No separate application is required for WSU International UAC scholarship. It is granted on the basis of merit and the value is around AUD 10,000 (Around INR 6.5 lakh)
