IIIT Bhopal conducts admission as per the eligiblity criteria based on merit and entrance. Candidate must secure a minimum of 75% in Class 12 with PCM and qualify JEE Main along with the JoSAA counselling. Courses such as MCA require a minimum aggregate of 60% in BSc/ BSc (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT conducted by a recognised University. Candidates must qualify NIMCET to seek admission in MCA. A candidate require to fulfill the given eligiblity criteria to seek admission at IIIT Bhopal.

IIIT Bhopal BTech students received the highest package of INR 34.4 LPA in placement 2024. However, the placement rate was 60% with the average package of INR 12.33 LPA. The students that participated in placement were around 135, while 81 among that received a placement. For BTech ECE and IT, the average package in 2024 was INR 10.53 LPA and for BTech in CSE, the average package was INR 14.7 LPA.

Below mentioned is the step-wise RGPV application process:
Step 1.1: Visit the official website of counselling.
Step 1.2: Select a course and register yourself.
Step 1.3: Verify your email ID or mobile number by entering the OTP received at your email id or mobile number.
Step 1.4: Login using your email ID and password.
Step 1.5: Fill out the application form by entering the required details.
The pplication fee can be paid online via debit/ credit cards or net banking. The RGPV application fee for General category candidates is INR 1,500 and the fee for reserved category candidates is INR 750.

To secure admission in the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Diploma course, candidates must have completesd their Class 10 examination. Students are than required to apply on the official website of RGPV and fill out the online application form online. Students are also required to register for the centralized Counseling organized by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh on its official website.
