According to information provided by NIELIT Gangtok, there are four specialisations available for the UG Diploma programme.

A 200-hour Advanced Diploma in Computer Application Accounting and Publishing (Part Time-Classroom) programme is offered. There are 8,100 INR in total tuition costs. To be eligible for the course, candidates must have passed their 10+2 from an accredited board.

The three-month online course is called "Online Diploma in Computer Application (DCA), Accounting (Tally), and Publishing (Corel Draw, Photoshop, PageMaker)." The amount of tuition is INR 10,502. This course is associated with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) and is also given in blended mode. Applicants may apply if they have completed their 12th grade from an accredited board and possess a basic understanding of computers and internet concepts.

For young people from SC, ST, and EWS (women) in aspirational districts, the Advance Diploma in Computer Application Accounting and Publishing is a skill development Diploma programme that enhances employability in the IT and electronics fields. There are two batches of 30 candidates each for the course.

The cost of the one-year (full-time) NIELIT CHM "O" Level course is INR 10,000. The 400-hour course is divided into 186 hours of practical instruction and 214 hours of theory and conceptual instruction.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India, founded the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Gangtok, as one of its units. Currently, NIELIT Gangtok provides both UG and PG students with close to 20 short-term and non-formal courses. All employees and students are welcome to use the central library and reading area at NIELIT Gangtok. About 300 books in the library are pertinent to the training sessions and courses offered. Two types of labs are available: one for embedded systems and the other for VLSI computers. A seminar hall, a conference room, and the NKN facility—a multi-Gigabit pan-India network—are among the other amenities.

NIELIT Pali, located in Rajasthan, provides educational courses in IT and software streams. It is focussed on providing digital literacy courses to its students. It offers both long term and short term courses. For short-term courses, admission is open throughout the year for enrollment. For long-term courses, the applications are accepted twice in a year, January & July. Admission process for both term courses depends on the eligibility criteria of the student. The admission in short term course, i.e two months, depends upon the academic merits. However, the admission in long term courses is conducted through the NIELIT entrance exam along with academic merits. You cannot join NIELIT Pali directly.

It was made to provide knowledge and skill development in the field on Information, Electronics and Communications Technology among students. Both Nielit Patna and Nielit Pali are constitutes of NIELIT and provides quality educational courses in the areas of Information, Electronics & Communication Technology (IECT). Nielit Pali Nielit Pali provides quality educational courses in Information, Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT). It offers around five digital literacy courses including ECC (Expert Computer Course) at very affordable cost. However, though Nielit Patna offers more than 10 quality courses to its students, it doesn't offer ECC course.
