Conestoga College offers a 4-level English for Academic Studies programB, which focuses on speaking, reading, listening, and writing needed for studies in a college or a university. It is on the basis of an in-house placement test or internationally acknowledged English language tests (TOEFL/IELTS) that it is determined at what level a student begins. Every year, 15-week main intakes take place which are carried out in the month of January, May, and September. Mid-term (7-week) intake options are carried out in March, July, and November. These are reserved for international students who are enrolled for the first time in the college.

Over 230 diploma, degree, certificate and post-graduation courses are offered at Conestoga College. Many of these programs come with a co-op option for overseas students. Students can choose from various areas of interest such as Business, Liberal Studies, Language & Communication Studies, Community Services, Trades & Apprenticeship, Engineering & Technology, Hospitality & Culinary Arts and much more. 

At Niagara College, academic excellence and involvement in studies are considered important. There is no application procedure for award which is offered in both autumn and winter semesters. On basis of academic success and history of participation in extracurricular activities, a decision is made. One beneficiary will be assigned to each academic institution, and they will be notified.

The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology accepts admission applications in ts fall, winter and spring intake. However, the deadline may also me course-specific, sometimes.

Students at Sault College can currently work up to 10 hours a week for 20 weeks, or 200 hours altogether. The Student Job Center posts jobs starting in mid-August and continuing as needed throughout the school year.
