University of Northern British Columbia does not provide data on acceptance rate. But as per unofficial sources, University of Northern British Columbia acceptance rate is 70% - 75% making UNBC bit selective in admissions. With acceptance rate of 70% - 75%, it is easier for Indian students to get into university.

Both the University of Northern British Columbia and Memorial University of Newfoundland are public research universities. The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2023 ranked the University of Northern British Columbia in the range of #801-1000 and Memorial University of Newfoundland in the range of #601-800 in the world.

The Lakehead University fee for international students varies according to degree and programme of choice. The annual tuition fee for undergraduate courses ranges from INR 15.31 L - 22.05 L, whereas for graduate programs, it ranges from INR 14.09 L - 25.11 L.
