In terms of placements, the institute has a remarkable record. The 2022 placement rate for PG (2-year) and PG (3-year) courses stood at 56% and 83%, respectively. When comparing the last three years' statistics (2020 to 2022), a fluctuating trend was observed in the percentage of PG (2-year) students placed, whereas, an improving trend was recorded in PG (3-year) placement rate. Yes, there are 18 hostels at PU CHD. Among them, eight are for boys and ten for girls. There is one Working Women Hostel that is equipped with all modern facilities. There is also an International Hostel to accommodate international students/faculty. Hostel seats are limited and are provided purely on a merit basis to campus students. The number of seats available is displayed on the university website well before the start of admission.

PU-CET (PG) is an entrance exam conducted by Panjab University Chandigarh for admission to its various post-graduate courses. PU-CET (PG) syllabus includes all the important topics of subjects that are relevant for business and general aptitude. For the PU-CET (PG) exam, candidates have to study Verbal Ability, Reasoning, General Knowledge and Data Interpretation. PU-CET (PG) exam preparation: Candidates should devise a strategy in advance.
