Chitkara University admissions are open for all ug and pg courses and last date to apply is 20th September. The admissions are done on both merit as well as entrance exam. The placement is quite good at Government Medical College as all the students are given inhouse internship. The lowest package seems to be 30k. The job is given in any hospital. All the students get internships in the same government college. Candidates can choose any branch like surgery, radiology, etc. Each batch has 200 students, putting almost 800 students in college. Stipend of Rs.13,000 is paid for internships. After MBBS, a specialist degree in medicine or surgery can be taken like MD or MS.
