Yes, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is offered at PEC University of Technology and also many related to core, and in core mechanical engineering is one of the best branch of PEC. Candidates interested in pursuing a B.Tech in technology should have finished their 10+2 from an accredited board with a minimum grade point average of 60%, preferably in the scientific stream.

Chandigarh University has well-educated faculty. Most of the faculty are PhD and Masters degree holders. The university also invites faculty for guest lectures and tries to offer an opportunity for students to talk to some of the best personalities. The university has over 100+ national and 80 international faculty members that visit the campus from time to time.

Students have access to a dedicated library situated in every academic block. Also, there is a central library that is open throughout the week. The campus has hi-tech computer labs, high-speed Wi-Fi and various food courts with multiple eating joints. Additionally, Chandigarh University campus has separate hostels both for boys and girls with all modern facilities and attached mess. The hostel mess provides fresh and hygienic food. Apart from this, other facilities include International Faculty Development Program (IFDP), convocations, and others.

Chandigarh University admissions to most of the courses are based on entrance exams. All the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes' admissions are based on university-conducted entrance exams called Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). Further, candidates need to pay the registration fee of INR 1,000 (inclusive of prospectus cost) which is valid only for online applicants. Those who want to apply offline can register using the unique number available on the offline form.

So, There is No marks criteria for B.E in mechanical engineering . It varies by Cuttoff per year .
All India rank is necessary for B.E in Mechanical Engineering at University of Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University.
As per (2022) last year cutoff for B.E. in mechanical engineering -
The AIR opening cutoff is 43296 and closing cutoff is 673434.
As per 2021, AIR closing cutoff is 108569.
