Yes, it is mandatory for the applicants to appear separately for the PGIMER BSc Nursing exam because NEET-UG score will not be aceepted by PGIMER, Chandigarh for the BSc nursing programme. PGIMER BSc Nursing exam is a gateway for admission into BSc nursing course and the candidates should have passed class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects. A separate counselling will be conducted by PGIMER for grating admission to candidates on the basis of the merit scored in the entrance exam.

PGIMER BSc Nursing 2026 entrance exams will be organized and conducted by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, for admissions in BSc Nursing programmes like BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing. It is an online (Computer-Based Test) which will be conducted for a duration of 90 minutes/1.5 hours. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions in the exam, of 1 mark.

The PGIMER BSc Nursing entrance exam will tentatively be conducted in May 2026 in the morning slot. The exam date will be announced through an official notification by the PGIMER, Chandigarh, on the official website, pgimer.edu.in. Candidates who will appear in the exam will be able to check their results and answer key around 15 days after the exam.

If you are reffering to the GMCH Combined Entrance Test application form then the release date was 25 Jul 2023 and the entrance Test 2023 was on 19 Aug 2023.
