Bharathiar University admission to the PG course is through the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). This state-level entrance exam is conducted by Anna University. Eligible students who submitted application on time are further shortlisted based on scores in TANCET. These selected students further are required to go through the centralised counselling conducted by the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.

Nehru Arts and Science College is accredited with A  by NACC accreditation.

As of nirf 2023 rank band of Nehru Arts and Science College is about 150-200.

And the college is NAAC Approved Mentor Institution.
