Kongunadu Arts and Science College’s campus is located a little distant from the city but still is easily accessible by the students. The college campus offers a peaceful environment that help students to learn and study. Campus has all required facilities by the students. Students get to enjoy fully furnished classrooms with good light and fan facility, well-equipped laboratories for practical learning, A huge library to study and research for the students

Kongunadu Arts and Science College is a private institution. The college was started in the year 1973 to meet the rising demand of college offering higher education in the region. The college today offers higher education to students belonging from almost every section of the society. Approx. 60% of the total students currently studying in the college are girls.

Kongunadu Arts and Science college is a reputed college in the region. The college has received status of an autonomous college. The college is A+ accredited by NAAC. KASC has also been ranked 29th by NIRF 2023. The college offers various UG, PG degree, diploma, certification courses that help students to pursue different careers.

Yes, only for self-financing courses, based upon the aggregate score secured by the candidate. Candidates seeking admission to PSG College of Arts and Science courses are required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria set by the college for their desired course. The eligibility criteria for candidates applying for UG aided/self-financed programmes are different depending upon the course they choose. The selection process for UG programmes is based on merit/scores obtained in the qualifying examination.

Entrance examinations are conducted as per the government norms for MSW and MA (Journalism and Mass Communication). Hence, admission to these courses is entrance-based. For other courses, there are no entrance exams.

The selection is based on marks and community. In addition, cut off marks are taken out of 400 (other than English and Language marks). English and Tamil marks are taken as cutoff marks only for BA English and BA Tamil admission.
