Yes, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences accept NEET score for admission to BDS course. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical and paramedical programmes offered in India. The exam is conducted once a year in offline or paper-pencil-based test (PBT) mode for three hours and 20 minutes or 200 minutes. As far as the NEET exam pattern is concerned, there are 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, out of which 180 questions have to be attempted.

The admission for BDS would be made strictly based on merit of the eligible candidates in each category, determined by marks obtained in the NEET. Faculty of Medical Sciences, DU releases a merit list based on the rank secured by the aspirants in NEET cutoff.
Selected candidates are further called for counselling. The counselling for 15% of the total seats is conducted by the MCC (AIQ) and the counselling for the remaining 85% of the seats is conducted by the Faculty Of Medical Sciences (Delhi State Quota). MAIDS Delhi eligibility criteria for BDS course is Class 12. Check below the detailed criteria for applying for BDS:
- Indian nationals of 17 years of age on December 31 of the year of admission can apply for BDS.
- Aspirants who have passed Class 12 examination with at least 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology can apply for MAIDS Delhi BDS.

Yes, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences or MAIDS Delhi offers a four-year BDS or Bachelor of Dental Surgery programme followed by a one-year compulsory rotating internship training. Any Student, who does not clear BDS Course in nine years, including internship, will be discharged from the course. MAIDS Delhi offers BDS in affiliation with Delhi University. Aspirants who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria and have a valid NEET UG score are eligible to apply for BDS admission at the institute.
