No, you are unable to directly join both New Media and NIPS. For those with an interest in neural information processing systems—which include computer vision, natural language processing, and robotics—NIPS is a professional society. It doesn't contain any content about social media, video games, or other interactive media, nor does it have a dedicated "New Media" group. Nonetheless, NIPS hosts a number of yearly workshops and conferences covering a broad range of AI and machine learning subjects. You can visit their website or get in touch with their membership department if you're interested in joining NIPS.

Since 1993, NIPS and New Media have a strong placement and internship track record. But placement results for B.Sc students at NIPS can differ depending on personal performance, skill set, and market demand.
Because NIMAS has several campuses throughout India, students in different parts of the country have more options. Furthermore less expensive than NIPS is NIMAS. Both the learning environment and the network of opportunities are superior at NIMAS. In 2019, NIRF ranked NIMAS as the 10th best B.Sc programme in India out of 200. NIMAS was ranked 34th out of all Indian hotel management institutes by IndiaToday in 2018. Thus, NIMAS

There are different courses provided by both the institutes in their respective field. NIPS provides courses leading to diplomas and degrees in fine arts, dance, and music, connected to the University of Jadavpur. Whereas, New Media offers degree and certificate programs in journalism, mass communication, and audio-visual media. B.Sc can be considered the top course at NIPS and New Media.

Yes, NIPS and New Media can be considered  good for MVSC. If we talk about NIPS in conjunction with new media in following perspective

  • Reputation- NIPS and New Media have better job opportunities and a positive reputation in the media and design industries.

  • Curriculum- NIPS and New Media place more of an emphasis on useful tools and industry-ready knowledge than does NIMAS.

  • Infrastructure- NIPS and New Media both boast superior media and design studies facilities and infrastructure.
