For undergraduate programmes, Allahabad State University predominantly uses merit-based admissions. The university does, however, administer the Common admission Test (CET), a separate admission exam, for specific programmes, such as those in the professional stream. Various methods will be implemented for the admissions process in each and every programme. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is the basis for admission to undergraduate programmes other than integrated and professional programmes. Merit-based admissions are used for UG and PG integrated programmes. CET-based admissions are used for professional programmes.

Both the universities offer MBA course for interested candidates. Both the Universities is have a great infrastructure, faculty members and a great campus life. The only difference is the placement cell. The students at PDM University did not get good placements and only a few of them were hired by the top companies. On the other hand, more than 50% of the students at MERI CET university God placements in Big MNCs. So if one has to choose between PDF university or MERI CET university, one can definitely go for MERI CET in terms of good placements, infrastructure and excellent faculty members.
