Yes, each student of LLM programme shall submit a dissertation carrying 200 marks as prescribed. The students shall submit the title with synopsis for dissertation for approval in the 5th semester on the specific data. 
The supervisors shall be appointed by the specified data after successful defence of the synopsis by the candidate through an interview before the panel appointed by the LLM Committee.

Once selected, candidates are called for counselling. Candidates need to bring below documents for DU LLM Counselling and verification:

  • Admission Ticket LLM Entrance Test
  • Age Certificate (High School/ Matriculation)
  • Character Certificate (not older than six months on the date of admission)
  • Degree Certificate (Provisional Certificate if applicable) of qualifying degree examination
  • Marksheet of the qualifying degree examination
