Admission to Indus Business School is based solely on merit. This means that candidates are chosen based on their academic performance and achievements. The entrance exam is only a qualifying criterion, not a ranking criterion. To be eligible for admission, candidates must obtain at least 50% on the entrance exam. The institute's merit list is used to make the final decision.

As per NIRF 2025, NLU Delhi is the top Law college in Delhi and has retained its 2nd position over the last three years. Delhi's Jamia Millia Islamia and GGSIPU are also ranked among the top universities for law in India.

DU offers MBA course through FMS Delhi and Delhi School of Economics based on CAT scores. Candidates seeking admission to Delhi University MBA course must apply through the CAT scores. As per the previous year cutoff, candidates are expected to have an overall cutoff of 98 Percentile, whereas a sectional cutoff of 50 Percentile in order to be eligible for DU admissions through FMS Delhi. Also, in order to be eligible for Delhi School of Economics, candidates must have an overall score of 80 Percentile and sectional cutoff of 50 Percentile.
