DU and JNU are consistently ranked by various ranking bodies. If we compare their NIRF 2025 rankings, JNU ranked #2 while DU ranked #5 under the  'University' category. On the other hand, Delhi University's India Today ranking 2025 (#1) was better than that of JNU (#2). Both the universities have their respective plus points. The career outcomes also vary by course.

Yes, Delhi University is recognised internationally for its wide variety of degree programmes. It was placed in the  #601-800 rank band in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026 (Overall). Recently, the university ranked #322 in the QS World University Rankings 2027 (Overall). These rankings confirm global recognition of Delhi University.

As per NIRF 2025, Delhi University received a ranking of #5 in the 'University' category. Further, it ranked #15 in the 'Overall' category and #12 in the 'Research Institutions' category. Multiple DU-affiliated colleges (like Hindu College & Miranda House) were also ranked separately under the 'College' category.

The selection criteria for B.Arch at SPA Vijayawada require candidates to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with at least 50% marks (or a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics) and obtain a valid JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch) or NATA score. Admissions are made through the JoSAA/CSAB counselling process based on the applicable entrance examination and eligibility criteria.
