JIMS Noida is more or less a Tier 2 institution. It has developed as a good business school in India, especially known for its management programs, like MBA and BBA. The institute provides good infrastructure, experienced faculty, and a decent placement record; however, it does not possess the same level of recognition and prestige as Tier 1 institutions like IIMs or top IITs. It has delivered quality education and has attracted several companies for placement. Thus, it has emerged as a viable option among students looking for quality education outside the Tier 1 bracket.

Currently, in terms of the admission cycle as of late, BULMIM takes at least an average of around 50-60 percentile cutoff level in management entrance exams including CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT for MBA admissions. While the cutoff levels are prone to change with the number of applicants and performance of others, it would be necessary to check on BULMIM's website or their respective admissions office for more relevant and updated information on such cutoffs. In addition, performance in personal interviews and academics is considered as well during the final selection process.
