GIBS supports students in becoming job-ready professionals through industry exposure and significantly enhances their chance of receiving good placement offers. To achieve this, GIBS will provide students with off-campus activities including industry visits, guest lectures, live projects, internships, and interactions with corporate professionals to enhance the understanding of real-world challenges rather than just learning concepts at school. These activities also help develop practical skills in communication, problem-solving, working with others and making decisions, all of which are highly sought after by employers. Employers ofte

Yes! The new GIBS campus in Bangalore makes it much easier to hold big events, fests, and placement drives.

Because the campus is big and well-built, there's plenty of space for:

  • Cultural fests and student events

  • Sports tournaments

  • Workshops and guest lectures

  • Placement drives with many companies visiting

There are large halls, open grounds, and good facilities that help the school organise everything smoothly. So students get to take part in lots of fun and important activities without any crowding or space problems.

At GIBS Bangalore, industry exposure happens quite regularly, not just once in a year.

Students get corporate talks and guest lectures often, sometimes every few weeks, where working professionals come to campus and share real-world experience. Industry visits are planned multiple times in a semester, so students actually get to see how companies function.

Alumni sessions also happen from time to time, where past students come back, talk about their careers, and guide current students.

Overall, GIBS keeps students constantly connected with the industry through regular talks, visits, and interactions.

A typical weekend at GIBS Bangalore is fun, active, and relaxing at the same time.

Students usually take part in sports matches like cricket, football, badminton, and indoor games. Friendly tournaments are common, so weekends feel energetic and lively. There are also cultural activities like dance practice, music, open-mic sessions, movie nights, and small fests where students showcase their talents.

For those who want to relax, the green campus is a big plus. Students sit on the lawns, walk around the campus, chat with friends, or just chill in open spaces. Some spend time in the café, hostel common areas, or reading quietly.
