NIT Jalandhar offers scholarships to students as financial assistance. Some of the scholarships offered are mentioned below:

•  Dr Partap Singh Memorial Scholarship and Means Cum Merit Scholarship.
• Swami Dayanand Charitable Educational Foundation and Trust Suvas. The Working Internships in Science and Engineering are open for B.Tech students in their 5th or 6th semester and dual degree/integrated programme students in their 5th to 8th semester. Under this internship, eligible students can participate in a 2-3-month internship at various German universities. Students also receive many awards for their excellent academic performance from the institute.

To apply for BPEd admission in DU, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must have completed graduation (Bachelor's degree) in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks.

• Participation in sports or physical activities at inter-college, inter-university, state, or national level is preferred.

• Candidates with a background in physical education or sports get an added advantage.

Admission Process for DU BPEd

1. Online Registration – Candidates must apply through the Delhi University admission portal.

2. Entrance Test – DU conducts a written entrance exam for BPEd to test knowledge of sports science, physical fitness, and general awareness.

3. Physical Fitness Test – Shortlisted candidates have to clear a practical/physical fitness test, which includes athletic activities and endurance tests.

4. Merit List & Counseling – Final admission is based on performance in the entrance exam, physical test, and academic qualifications.
