Yes, there is a different cutoff for admission to the BSc programme at Maitreyi College, depending on the SC, ST, and OBC categories. The college still goes by the reservation policy as instructed by the University of Delhi, keeping in view the percentage share of seats assigned to different categories. In most cases, the cutoff marks in each category fall lower than the general category cutoff marks. In previous cut-offs for admission, the cut-off for BSc courses in the general category was 746.9. No, students cannot get direct admission to the BCom programme available at Maitreyi College. Admission is based on merit through CUET. For registration, candidates have to sign up for the accepted entrance exam and appear for it, followed by the CSAS counselling process. All this assures that the selection of the students will be fair and transparent, which results from the performance in the entrance test conducted by the NTA. There is no direct entry in the BCom course provided by Maitreyi College.
