There are two processes for getting Direct Admission in VIPS Delhi, i.e through Counselling and management quota over fixed percentage of seats.
The college gives scholarship to the good and bright students or the students from weaker sections.
VIPS also provide scholarships to students from the Delhi government every year, belonging to the categories of SC, ST, or OBC.

VIPS Delhi admissions is mostly entrance-based. Candidates are selected based on merit in the respective entrance test.
For more of the courses, admission is through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIPU. Additionally, some of the entrance tests accepted are NIMCET, JEE Main, CLAT UG and CLAT PG.
The annual fees to pursue BBA at VIPS is around 1.20 Lacs which is a decent amount.

Shivaji College Placement 2023 report has not been released yet and as per NIRF report 2022 a total of 85 UG students were placed during the placement drive. The median package offered to UG students was INR 4 LPA.

The duration of Jamia Milia Islami Entrance Exam varies for different courses. For undergraduate programs, the duration is 1 hour 45 minutes, while for postgraduate programs, it is 3 hours. The entrance exam for admission in courses offered at AJK Mass Communication Research Centre (MCRC) consists of two sections – A and B.
Part A is the written test which has objective type questions, while part B is a written test which is descriptive in nature. They both are of 3 hours duration. There is an interview round which is of 45 minutes as well.
