Technical University of Denmark as well as the University of Copanhagen are two well-known institutions in Denmark and great study abroad options for students. When it comes to rankings, the University of Copanhagen beats Technical University of Denmark with the rank #107 in QS World University Rankings 2024. The latter has claimed the rank #121 in the same category. In US News & World Report University Rankings 2024, the University of Copenhagen again has an upper hand with rank #42 in Best Global Universities. Whereas, DTU is far behind with the rank #165 in the same category.

With an acceptance rate of merely 38 - 46%, Technical University of Denmark is a very competitve institution as it accepts approximately 38 to 46 out of every 100 applicants on an average. However, students must not feel discouraged and fulfill all the Technical University of Denmark admission requirements academic qualifications, English language requirements & more in order to boost their chances of getting admitted in DTU. Technical University of Denmark operates on five beautiful and welcoming campuses, namely:

  1. Lyngby Campus: Located in north of Copenhagen, near the town of Lyngby, Lyngby Campus is both extremely safe and secure as well as a beautiful natural setting. Squares, sports fields, inner courtyards and gardens, wooded areas, and a central avenue are all tucked away in the spaces between the buildings to make an attractive architectural statement.
