An unofficial source claims, that the Technical University of Denmark acceptance rate is 38%. The low percent shows that the university is extremely stringent and hard to get into for international students. International candidates coming from all over the globe must aim for excellent academic scores, and prove their English language proficiency to make their chances high. In addition, they must take part in relevant activities that they can add to their resume to create a positive impact.

Most student work around 15 hours per week and many students have jobs that are relevant to their studies. However, note that finding a job can be a little bit more challenging if you do not speak Danish. Therefore, it is not recommended that you base your semester's finances on having a job.
