The minimum TOEFL score required for admission to Aarhus University is 83 for the internet-based test (IBT). The IELTS score should not be lower than 6.5. The minimum CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) score required for admission to Aarhus University is grade A or 190 points as a minimum on the Cambridge English Scale. This is equivalent to a C1 level on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Aarhus University does not have scholarship funds, but you may be eligible for The Danish State Educational Grant and Loan Scheme (SU). A range of external scholarships and loan programs are available for students liable to pay. EU/EEA/Swiss students cannot apply for scholarships at AU. However, Aarhus University offers a limited number of scholarships to the most talented applicants from outside Europe. These scholarships are financed by the Danish state and can only be awarded to non-EU/EEA/Swiss students.

Technical University of Denmark as well as the University of Copanhagen are two well-known institutions in Denmark and great study abroad options for students. When it comes to rankings, the University of Copanhagen beats Technical University of Denmark with the rank #107 in QS World University Rankings 2024. The latter has claimed the rank #121 in the same category. In US News & World Report University Rankings 2024, the University of Copenhagen again has an upper hand with rank #42 in Best Global Universities. Whereas, DTU is far behind with the rank #165 in the same category.
