The University of Helsinki offer only one bachelor’s programme in English i.e. Bachelor’s programme in Science. At the master’s level, students can choose from 30 international master’s degree programs. More than 30 doctoral programs are also offered at the university whose language of instruction is in English.

International applicants at Helsinki Uni are required to pay the tuition fees. The tuition fees is between INR 13 L - INR 18 L. 

Cost of Living: One month's rent in student housing will be usually Euros 450 – Euros 800. In addition, students are required to cover their monthly costs for basics such as food, communication and transportation.

The Aalto University application deadline for Masters programs ranges from late Novermber to early Jan. However international students aiming to apply between Nov 30 and Jan 2 for 2024 is closed now. The cost of attending Aalto University can vary depending on the main factors, such as course level of study (UG and PG). However, International students considering this university could be a little higher than compared to finland citizens. The UG programme Academic tuition fee for international students is around ( INR 10.8L) per annum, depending on the course. It’s (INR 47.4 L - 52.1 L) for PG programs.

There is no Application fee for Aalto University as the university eliminated the fee exclusively for its students. By not having an application fee, the University is creating good options and opportunities for students across the globe to pursue their educational interests and goals without the financial burden on the students. However, for Graduate students, the university hasn’t specified an application fee, hence it is suggested to call the admission office to get more details regarding the process.

Aalto University has  a great performance in global rankings over the past five years. In the University Ranking THE (Times Higher Education) university is ranked 201-250 in year 2023. Additionally, in the year 2024 the World University Ranking QS has ranked it at 109. We can say that the university is in the top 150 universities and it is one of the best universities in Finland as well. Hence, for international students Aalto Univeristy is surely a good option
