Universities in Finland, especially research universities, are generally known to be very selective at admitting students. However, the University of Jyvaskyla is an excpetion.
Its acceptance rate of 60%, is much higher than that of popular universities whose rates of acceptance range between 5-20%.
Morover, both the Yrkeshogskolan Novia & Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK) have acceptance rates 53%, & 68%, respectively, per data curated from unofficial sources.

According to the official wesbite of the univeristy, an indidual student require a minimum of EUR 800 (INR 78.5 K) to survive.
