Yes, students can get into IIM Ahmedabad without appearing for CAT. However, this is applicable for courses other than flagship PGP/ MBA programme. Students seeking to join programmes, such as the BPGP or PGPXprogrammes. Students can get admission in these courses based on GMAT or GRE scores. The institute also conducts IIMA Admission Test for Blended PGP courses.

IIM Ahmedabad admission to its flagship MBA programme is via CAT. Aspirants need to fill out the CAT form. For all other courses, candidates have to apply on the institute's website. Students must get an exceptional score in CAT. As IIM-A is the top management institute of the country, the cutoffs are equally high. The institute considers GMAT, GRE or CAT scores for admission in other courses. The institute also conducts IIMA Admission Test for MBA-BPGP in BA & AI and MBA-BPGP courses. Selected candidates are called for a PI round.

Lot of outdoor facilities are provided to the students which includes multiple courts for tennis, volleyball, frisbee & basketball. A big Football field, Cricket pitch, jogging and cycling tracks make the outdoors as impressive as the classrooms.

IIM Ahmedabad has various exta curricular activities and fests to give great exposure to the students who wants an holistic growth. Co circular activities play an important role in shaping the overall personality of the students. IIM-A encourages students to participate in clubs, fests and extra-curricular activities.
Their are lot of different clubs like Computer & Connectivity Club (CCC), Cultural and Social Affairs Committee etc.

IIM Ahmedabad admission to MBA course is based on CAT scores followed by the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI). The Institute does not release the final CAT cutoff publicly. It is only available through account login to those candidates who appear in the CAT exam. The final CAT cutoff percentile goes up to 99 for General AI category. Candidates need to provide digital copies of the following documents to complete the GNLU Gandhinagar BBA LLB (Hons) admission process:
- Class 10th and Class 12th marksheets as well as passing certificate
- Migration certificate
- CLAT-UG scorecard

No, the Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar admission to the BBA LLB (hons) course are not available in offline mode. All candidates are required to register for CLAT-UG followed by appearing for the CLAT counseling rounds. Both of the aforementioned are only conducted in online modes on the portal of the CLAT-UG.

Yes, the BBA LLB (hons) admissions at GNLU Gandhinagar have been opened for the year 2026. The declaration of the results for GNLU Gandhinagar has been postponed due to the third merit list for CLAT-UG being postponed as well. To check the new dates for result declaration, candidates need to go to the portal of CLAT-UG.

No, the CLAT 2026 registrations have been closed for GNLU Gandhinagar BBA LLB (hons) admissions. The registrations window for CLAT 2026 was open between the months of August and November in 2025. Those candidates who failed to register for the exam during the aforementioned period are now required to wait for CLAT-UG 2027 to begin.

Yes, any candidate who wishes to apply for GNLU Gandhinagar BBA LLB (hons) admission must appear for the CLAT-UG exam. Selected candidates will be alloted seats in the BBA LLB (hons) course of GNLU Gandhinagar during the CLAT counseling rounds. The selection of candidates is based on the scores obtained during the CLAT-UG.
