Yes, students can get into IIM Ahmedabad without appearing for CAT. However, this is applicable for courses other than flagship PGP/ MBA programme. Students seeking to join programmes, such as the BPGP or PGPXprogrammes. Students can get admission in these courses based on GMAT or GRE scores. The institute also conducts IIMA Admission Test for Blended PGP courses.

IIM Ahmedabad admission to MBA course is based on CAT scores followed by the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI). The Institute does not release the final CAT cutoff publicly.
