Placements at IRMA have always reflected the Institutes mission and vision. This has echoed for the past 40 years in the 100% placements record of the Institute. Several national and international organizations like NDDB, Amul, World Bank, Reliance Foundation, Godrej, Pidilite, ITC, Adani, IndusInd, Big Basket, Future Group, Grofers and Light recently selected students for the Winter Internship, I. e. the Management Traineeship Segment of PGDRM. The students were placed within three days with the highest stipend being Rs. 1.80 Lacs. The mean stipend was Rs. 48,840. This year onwards, IRMA will be shortlisting and calling applicants in two ways:
1. Merit-based Calls: Candidates who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process.
2. Profile-cum-merit based Calls: Candidates who score above 80 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 and fall in the Profile-based call criteria will be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process. The key criteria to shortlist candidates based on profile are: (I) Excellence: Graduation from Top universities and Colleges, (ii) Work Experience in Social Impact, Community Development, Livelihoods, Policy and Advocacy, Agriculture and Allied sectors; (iii) Graduation in Social sciences, Development studies, Agriculture and Allied sciences
Shortlisted candidates will be called for selection process at IRMA where they will have to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2019 IRMASAT 2019), Group Activity and Personal Interview. Dear Anshu, CS and BBA can go hand in hand, and yes time management would be an important factor for the same. As BBA would be full time course and would require your presence in campus. Your time after college should be best optimized to study CS. Company Secretary course goes through 3 stages of study and training. (1)Foundation (2) Executive programme (3) Professional programme. After +2 a student is eligible to enroll for the CS Foundation course. This course is an eight-month course. Examination can be taken twice a year, in June and December. Enrollment for December exam ends in March and for June exam in September, so you can plan accordingly. Unfortunately, IIM Ahmedabad does not have a BBA or CS programme, so kindly choose from other colleges for BBA and for CS you can only enrol with ICSI.
