At the time of admission to the BCOm LLB (Hons) programme of ILNU, selected candidates must submit a total of INR 3.72 lakh. This includes the annual tuition fee of INR 3.25 lakh, annual registration and examination fee of INR 7,000, and various one-time fees. The one-time fees include a refundable security deposit, University enrolment fee, orientation and welcom kit charges, etc. The mentioned fee information is taken from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. Yes, students pursuing BCom LLB (Hons) at ILNU Ahmedabad must undergo nine intership programmes during the course duration. The institute has planned one internship at the end of each semester. The goal of these internships is to provide practical exposure to the students. The internship programmes are designed in consonance with the Bar Council of India guidelines. These internships are conducted with NGOs, High Courts, Trial Court, and the Supreme Court.

The Institute of Law, Nirma University follows the seat reservation policy as per th rules of the Government of Gujarat. Out of the total approved intake, 85% of the seats are for the General category. 15% of the total intake is likely to be filled-in under NRI/NRI Sponsored category. Over and above NRI/NRI Sponsored Category, 15% supernumerary seats are reserved for Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Nationals (FN) and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries-South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA) as per UGC Rules.

ILNU is knows to provide good placement opportunities to its students. ILNU alumini are placed in renowed law firms and corportates, such as Pioneer Legal, HDFC Bank, EY, etc. In 2023, the institute recorded a placement rate of 82% across various law courses that it offers. The institute has not released any placement data specifically applying to BCom LLB (Hons) placements. However, as per the institute's the latest NIRF report (2025), the median package offered during UG 5-year placements in 2023 was INR 4.8 LPA. ILNU accepts the scores of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission its BCom LLB (Hons) programme. CLAT is a national level entrance exam for law courses, conducted by the 18 participating law schools in rotation. The test consists of objective type questions and carries a maximum of 200 marks. Aspirants must visit the official website of the Consortium of NLUs to apply for the exam. They must separately register on the official ILNU website to be considered for the selection process, which is based on the CLAT scores.
