No, Institute of Science, Nirma University admissions are not merit-based. Students are selected purely on entrance basis for both MSc and PhD programmes. For MSc, students need to appear for the Common Entrance Tes - CET by Nirma University.

To obtain an APS certificate students have to submit a passport size photo plus a copy of the following docs mentioned below

- Adhaar Card

Institute of Science, Nirma University eligibility is different for each programme. Students have to clear the basic requirements to get a seat. The general eligibility criteria is as below:
- Institute of Science, Nirma University MSc eligibility - UG degree in relevant field with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised university
- Institute of Science, Nirma University PhD eligibility - PG degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% from a recognised university

No, Institute of Science, Nirma University generally does not accept direct admissions. Students need to appear for the entrance test and go through counselling for seat allotment. The institute however, may still allot some seats under the management quota. Students can contact ISNU for more info.
