The selection process for UID Ahmedabad admissions includes UID DAT entrance exams, situation test (ST) and portfolio evaluation (PE) at UID Campus based on the preference given in the UID application 2024-25.

The eligibility criteria for the MDes course at UID Ahmedabad is that the candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Moreover, the duration of the course is for four years. The entrance exam accepted includes the UID Design Aptitude Test.

The fee for various courses offered by NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology is different for different quotas. Students have to pay the fees according to the quota they are getting admission through. Course fees for NMIT ranges:

NITTE is situated in Bangalore and so is CMRIT. Both of the colleges offer good placements and have an excellent campus. CSRIT has a better rating than NITTE but the latter is an autonomous institution which gives it an advantage. Hence, NITTE is definitely as good as CMRIT.

The NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is a two-step entrance exam. The candidate first appears in DAT Prelims. If shortlisted, the candidate has to next appear in DAT Mains.

Candidates may note that the National Institute of Design (NID) doesn’t release any syllabus for either DAT Prelims or DAT Mains.
However, the institute has released the sample test papers for the NID DAT 2024 exam. The sample papers contain the questions similar to the ones that will be asked in the actual exam.
So, the candidate may download and practice the sample papers to get an idea about the difficulty level, types of questions asked, marking scheme, weightage, and topics covered.

The NID DAT application form 2024 is currently open online at admissions.nid.edu. The National Institute of Design (NID) has also released the admission handbooks for the B.Des and M.Des program.
The admission handbook contains key details pertaining to eligibility criteria, application process, fee, eligibility criteria, reservation, seat matrix, and much more.
So, it is recommended that the candidate carefully goes through the NID DAT 2024 admission handbook before filling out the application form.
