BDes course is offered through various specialisations at NIDs. Candidates who have scored within 200 are eligible for top NIDs, including NID Ahmedabad and NID Andhra Pradesh. Admission to NID DAT exam is conducted for BDes admissions to NIDs. The table below shows a comparative analysis of the rank and scores of the last candidate admitted on the basis of NID DAT cutoffs for Open category for the last year for top NIDs, including the NID Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, NID Assam, NID Madhya Pradesh and NID Haryana:

NID Ahmedabad admission to BDes and MDes is based on NID DAT scores. The final schedule for NID Ahmedabad cutoff has been released. Currently, the NID DAT exams are over. Students can visit the official website for updated information. 

Anticipated on the basis of last year trends, the minimum score required for NID Ahmedabad for BDes is 65.8 and for MDes, it must range between 80 and 90. 5 in NID DAT exam for the Open Category students. NID Ahmedabad admission to both BDes and MDes is offered through NIT DAT exam.

The design institute offers BDes at UG level and MDes at PG level across various specialisation in the field of Design. Candidates planning to take admission in NIDs must appear for NID DAT. NID Ahmedabad cutoff to BDes and MDes courses is based on NID DAT followed by counselling. For MDes, candidates must have around 80 - 95.4 score in NID DAT for NID Ahmedabad admission.

The BTech programme at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDU) is offered in four specialisations, with each specialisation having 75 available seats. For candidates who are eligible and interested in direct admission to the second year of the BTech programme (for Engineering Diploma holders), there is an online application process that needs to be completed. This process involves submitting the application forms to appear in the specified test paper of the CUET (UG)-2023 entrance test. Following the entrance test, DDUGU, Gorakhpur conducts counselling sessions to facilitate the admission process.

Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDU) offers the BSc programme with six specialisations: BSc (Math group), BSc (Bio group), BSc Home Science, BSc (BPT) Physiotherapy, and BSc Agriculture. Each specialisation focuses on specific subjects related to the field of study. For instance, the Math group includes subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Defence & Strategic Studies, among others. These subject combinations provide students with a comprehensive understanding of their chosen field and prepare them for various career opportunities and further academic pursuits.
