To be eligible for admission to any course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in the previous qualification in a relevant stream from any recognised institute. Although admissions are done based on scores obtained in AP EAMCET or JEE Main for BTech and AP PGECET or GATE for MTech, 30% of seats are reserved for direct admission under the management quota.

The AP EAMCET exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU Kakinada). It is conducted for all colleges in Andhra Pradesh, not only for the A.M.Reddy Memorial College of Engineering and Technology. The results for admission in 2025 have already been declared on June 8, 2025.

The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification.
