The HSTES counseling is conducted by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryana. It is conducted for admission to all colleges in Haryana, not only for the Rao Pahlad Singh Group of Institutions. Generally, results are announced 4-5 weeks after the process has started. In 2025, the process was started on 5 June, and the ranks were allotted on 10 July 2025.

Admission to the BBA, BCA, and MTech courses is done based on the scores obtained in the previous qualification. It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Rao Pahlad Singh Group of Institutions offers BTech, MTech, MBA, BBA, BCA, and Diploma courses. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in JEE Main exam, HSTES counseling, and GATE exam for admission to BTech, Diploma and MTech courses, respectively. Candidates meeting all the admission requirements can apply by appearing for the respective counseling or directly filling out the admission form.

Admission to the BTech, Diploma and MTech courses at the college can be considered difficult as it is done based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main exam, HSTES counseling, and GATE exam, respectively. Admission to the BBA, BCA, and MTech courses can be considered less difficult as it is done based on the scores obtained in the previous qualification.

Yes, you can get direct admission to the Rao Pahlad Singh Group of Institutions. The institution offers only BTech, MTech, MBA, BBA, BCA, and Diploma courses. Admission to BBA, BCA, and MTech courses is not based on scores obtained in any entrance exams. Admission to BTech, Diploma, and MTech courses at the college is mainly based on scores obtained in the JEE Main exam, HSTES counseling, and the GATE exam, respectively. But, there are some seats reserved for direct admission under the management quota.

You need your 10th and 12th marksheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate, character certificate, passport-size photos, ID proof, caste certificate if applicable, and entrance exam scorecard. Check with the college for exact details identity should be legal not be illegal verified identity.
