Dharmsinh Desai University is a government University that was established in 1986. The University is approved by AICTE. The university offers Undergraduate. Desg, B. FT Postgraduate- M.F.M courses to its students. The admission is given based on an entrance exam. The University also offers scholarships to their students and the exam accepted is the NIFT entrance exam. The placement record of the university is around 96%. In IHMs you can spend less as it is a public body and in IIHMs you would have to spend no less than 4 Lacs for the course as it is a private body. Other than that, both are best at their own places. Public one offers more better jobs is just a myth. It only depends on your personal skills and your capability to be an asset to the company. I have worked with a large IHG hotel where I found absolutely no difference between an IHM graduate and IIHM graduate. Once you step into the industry the difference between both institutes vanishes off.

Admission to GNITS is offered through TSEAMCET & PGCET counselling process for BTech & M.Tech courses, respectively. To apply for the counselling process, candidates have to visit the official website of the respective counselling bodies. The final seat allotment list of the selected candidates for admission to UG & PG courses is released on the official website of the institute. The seat allotment list is released in multiple round as per the number of seats remain vacant.
