Osmania University offers various courses for the students. It was established in the year 1918. So it has a great legacy of more than 100 Years but, 18 real, confirmed students from Nizam College gave the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course a rating of 3.8 out of 5, whereas three students from University College of Science, Osmania University gave the same course a rating of 3.5 out of 5. No, Osmania University is rated low as per the verified students of shiksha.com.

The Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad offers a two-year full-time residential PGDM curriculum. Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad was founded in 2011. It is the institute constituent to IMT Ghaziabad's providing the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management Programme for Executives (PGDM-Exec). The programmes are AICTE-accredited, SAQS and NBA-accredited, and have an MBA equivalency certificate from the AIU. Osmania University College for Women was founded in 1924 and has been a constituent college of Osmania University since 1989. According to 2022 placement data analytics, out of total 1009 students of UG (3 Year Batch), 105 students were placed with a median package of INR 2.5 LPA and out of total 560 students of PG (2 Year) batch, 200 students were placed at a median package of INR 4 LPA.

Common University Entrance Test, popularly known by its acronym CUET, is a National level test which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) . Many institutions have standardised its scores as a pre-requisit to enter into the college . colleges reveal their own cutoffs for different programs and different departments . The cutoff strictly depends upon the compition in that particular programme . Colleges have started declaring thier cutoffs for different programs on their College Website . Osmania has started to unveil the cutoffs for different programs but it is yes to reveal the cutoffs for B.Sc programme .

The candidates' All India Ranks are used to determine who gets admitted to the B.Tech programme. This is determined based on the JEE Mains score.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSSa) will conduct counselling for interested candidates utilising their All India Rank. In accordance with the choices made by the candidate, counselling will be provided during each round of seat distribution.
This deemed to be University accepts a total of 270 students for the course B.Tech.
