Prestige Institute of Management is not that good a college for management and placements are also very low. I won't suggest this college, as you have asked about the percentile, if you score above 50% then you will get a seat there. In India, 93% of MBA are unemployed because of so many tier 3 colleges and that's a huge number, so choose your college wisely.

Because I am an IIMian with commerce background.
You have to clear cat cut off, perform well in interview.
If your CAT score is same is that of an engineer guy (I am not saying science, because there are a few people who are from science background other than engineers) your probability of getting into IIM is high. All IIMs give weightage for academic diversity and in a few IIMs like Trichy, there are different weightage for each background and commerce background has highest weightage.
