All international students, including Indian origin are required to apply directly to DCU on dcu.ie/global which is an admission portal for Non-EU applicants. The closing date for applications is Jul 1, 2026. Make sure to apply timely.

Yes DCU acceptance rate stands around 50% meaning out of every 100 candidates who apply for its admission process upto 50 will  be accepted. This makes it moderately hard to get into the university as only one tenth of the applicants will be offered admission

Yes absolutely because DCU was ranked top 350 in the World Rankings 2026 by THE while it was ranked no. 1 in Ireland in Research Quality. It was also ranked 410th in the World for 2026 by QS while 19 of DCU's subjects ranked in QS Subject Rankings 2025. It also stood no. 1 in Ireland for Environmental Sustainability

All students hailing from a non English speaking country must submit proof of English proficiency including PG and foundation programme students. Although the DCU requirements for master's are programme and school specific, the majority schools have the following minimum scores:

IELTS Academic6.5 or above
TOEFL iBT92 or above
PTE63
DET120
