The Poornima Group of Colleges (PGC) includes Poornima College of Engineering. It was started in Jaipur in 2000. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has granted it accreditation, and it is connected with Rajasthan Technical University. Out of 116 ITS Colleges, it was ranked number two by RTU in 2020. The college offers a B.Tech programme with speciallizations in Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Information Technology (IT). The admission to all the B.Tech programs is based on entrance-exams - REAP/JEE Mains.

Factors affecting the 2023 cutoff for the Poornima College of Engineering and the Poornim Group of Colleges

• Cutoff scores for B.Tech programs can vary greatly depending on the total number of applications received.
• The score on the JEE Main Entrance Examination.
• A significant factor is the amount of seats offered in each B.Tech program.
• The cutoff can be affected by applicants' academic performance, including their Class 12th (or equivalent) marks. Lower cutoffs may apply to pupils who perform better.
• Percentile in the Diploma in Engineering & Technology (which needs state approval)

Poornima College of Engineering, part of the Poornima Group of Colleges, does not have B.Tech cutoffs because it bases admission on entrance tests like the JEE and REAP. If there are adequate seats available, the college may also offer admission based on 12th-grade scores under the management quota.

Selections are made in accordance with REAP counseling's recommendation. As a result, REAP also accepts applications. Candidates must also receive 45% in the required disciplines of Physics, Math, and Chemistry.

Candidates must hold a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree with a 55% cumulative average and be GATE eligible in order to be admitted to the M.Tech program. Applications are accepted via RTU CAM, and the same platform also handles admissions decisions through counseling.

Scholarships at JKLU is awarded based on some criteria in different disciplines-

• Academic Performance in Class X & Class XII marks. (Only for those who have passed class XII in 2021/2022/2023.) for B.Tech, BBA, BCA.
• Exceptional performance in co-curricular activities (Sports, Cultural, Social Service etc.) for B.Tech, BBA, BCA.

B.Tech

• Performance in JEE 2021/2022/2023, if available.

• For the purpose of awarding scholarship, the 10th and 12th class scores will be computed as follows:

  • For Class X Score: English, Maths, Social Studies, Science and fifth subject as per University norms.
  • For Class XII Score: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English (total of four subjects)

BBA

For the purpose of awarding scholarship, the 10^th and 12^th class scores will be computed as follows:

• For Class X Score: English, Maths, Social Studies, Science and fifth subject as per University norms.
• For Class XII Score: English and three subjects of applicant’s choice (total of four subjects)

BCA

For the purpose of awarding scholarship, the 10^th and 12^th class scores will be computed as follows:

• For Class X Score: English, Maths, Social Studies, Science and fifth subject as per University norms.
• For Class XII Score (for BCA): English, Maths/Physics/Economics/Accountancy/Computer Science/Informatics Practices and two subjects of applicant’s choice (total of four subjects)

B.Des

• Academic Performance in Class X and XII marks. 
• Performance in JKLU-DET & Portfolio Round.
