NIT Jalandhar arranges various fests and events for students. Recently, the NIT Jalandhar arranged the annual cultural fest “UTKANSH”. Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar students feel safe inside the campus as there are CCTV cameras installed everywhere on the campus. At every exit and entry point, there are security staff available who restrict the entry of anyone who does not have an entry card or prior permission. 

NIT Jalandhar desires 100% attendance. Exception can be provided to students on account of late registration, sickness, or other such contingencies. To appear in exams, 75% of attendance is needed. A student with less than 75% of attendance in a programme during a semester will be awarded a ‘W’ Grade in that programme irrespective of his/her performance in the exams/tests.
