If you completed Diploma in any discipline then you can apply for B.Tech lateral entry entrance exam and then you can join B.Tech 2nd year based on your score in the entrance exam.

The highest package offered at the Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT, Mangalore) is INR 25 LPA, and the average package is around INR 4-5 LPA. Around 70% of the students get placed every year. Yes, you can get direct admission to Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT, Mangalore). The college offers only BTech, MTech, and Diploma courses. Admission to diploma courses is not based on scores obtained in any entrance exams. Admission to BTech and MTech courses at the college is mainly based on scores obtained in JEE Main and GATE exams, respectively. But, there are some seats reserved for direct admission under the management quota.

Yes, Bangalore Technological Institute has good and experienced faculty. They are helpful and supportive. Most of them have extensive experience in their respective fields. But, there are some reviews mentioning that some of the teachers are not supportive and not good at teaching. The college has received an overall rating of 4.0 out of 5 for its faculty and course curriculum.

For the students belonging to the general category, the rank required in the KCET exam ranged from 86752 to 245245.5, while the rank required in the COMEDK UGET exam ranged from 93576 to 107728 for admission in 2025.
