Yeah, B.Tech CSE at LPU is something worth looking at, mainly if your aim is placements in the IT side, and you're actually ready to put in time for coding, projects, internships and interview prep. LPU's CSE route also has those special focus areas like AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and a few other nearby specializations, plus they keep pushing hackathons, coding contests, and work-with-industry style projects. The uni also mentions a top CSE package reaching INR 64 LPA, 1,500+ recruiters, 2,600+ Dream and Super Dream type offers, and an average around INR 14.97 LPA for the top 10% of CSE students. They further say roughly 90–95% of eligible and interested CSE/IT students get placement chances. But the main thing is, LPU can give you the platform, still your final output really depends on your skills, not just the college name. If you keep coding consistently, and you make projects, collect certifications, and finish internships on time, you can realistically aim for packages beyond INR 10 LPA. If someone is only depending on the classroom part, then the results may feel a bit different. So overall, if you treat it like a place to work hard with resources, LPU can be a solid pick among private universities for CSE, rather than a “sit back and hope” situation.

When I joined, I was mainly focused on academics. But over time, because of the different activities, interactions, events, and opportunities on campus, I started becoming more confident and comfortable around people.

There were many chances to participate, take responsibility, work in teams, interact with professionals, and try things that were completely new to me. Those experiences taught me a lot about myself.

 I didn't join thinking I would change so much, but by the end of the course, I felt more confident, more independent, and much better prepared for the next stage of my career. That's what I feel helped me grow beyond the classroom at GIBS.
