The selection of candidates for admission to the MBA programme at VGSoM (IIT Kharagpur) is a two-step procedure. Applicants, who are shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria are called for WAT and online Personal Interview (PI). Final admission to the MBA programme is then offered on the basis of a cumulative score of the application rating (AR), performance score in CAT, and the candidate's performance in the WAT and online PI process. 

BTech aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE Main through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) i.e., (nta.ac.in). Followed by JEE Main, students are required to register for JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password. Next candidates have to fill in the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee. JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment results have been released on Jul 12. Tabulated below is IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2023 as per JoSAA R3 for top BTech courses for General-All India candidates: 

As per IIT Kharagpur cut off 2023 for JAM 2023 Fourth Admission List, the opening and closing ranks for MSc Physics  are 11 and 248, respectively. Also, for MSc Geology, the opening and closing ranks stood at 11 and 63, respectively. Tabulated below are IIT JAM 2023 Opening Ranks (ORs) and Closing Ranks (CRs) for various MSc specialisations offered by IIT Kharagpur: 

The cut off was 5435 for General category candidates in All India quota for Integrated BTech (Hons) in Industrial Engineering + M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering and Management at IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology. 

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech (Hons) in Industrial Engineering at IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology for other than General category are - 2049 for OBC, 1189 for SC, 698 for ST, 885 for EWS, and 159 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 10304 and closing rank was 11592. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 19571 and 20790. Admission to BSc in Exploration Geophysics at IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category they are applying for while checking for cut offs.
