The WBJEE exam is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). It is conducted for admission to BTech in almost all colleges in West Bengal, not only for the Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology. To be eligible for admission to the BE/BTech course at Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board.
