No, Science stream is not important to get admission into the BSc course at FIEM; students of humanities, commerce and Science are equally eligible for taking admission. The college offers two specialisations in the BSc course, Media Science and Hospitality and Hotel Administration. Thus, the requirement of Science background is not necessary to pursue these specialisations.

For the admission process of the BSc course at FIEM, acceptance of CUET scores is not explicitly mentioned on the official website of the university. Moreover, the college is affiliated with MAKAUT, and it accepts the entrance exam, MAKAUT CET for BSc courses. MAKAUT CET or MAKAUT Common Entrance Test (CET), is an all-India level examination for admission to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and its affiliated colleges.

Future Institute of Engineering and Management offers only two specialisations in BSc courses, one BSc in Media Science and the other BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The eligibility requirements and admission process at both courses are almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education, and must have secured valid scores in MAKAUT CET.

Yes, FIEM does scholarships for BSc students. Majorly the scholarships are offered to BSc students on the basis of their merit, the scores they achieved in their higher senior secondary, and their entrance exam. Additionally, the college offers minorities scholarships, the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, and other government-aided scholarships and freeships. Before applying for the scholarships, candidates must complete the eligibility requirements and apply through the official website of the college.

NSHM Kolkata offers a total of 660 seats for the BSc course, whereas FEM offers 120 seats. The difference between these seats might be a reason that NSHM Kolkata offers various specialisations for the BSc course, and has different specialised schools for Bachelor of Science courses- NSHM Design School, NSHM Knowledge Campus - Kolkata Campus, NSHM Media School, NSHM Knowledge Campus - Kolkata Campus, NSHM Institute of Health Sciences, NSHM Knowledge Campus - Kolkata Campus, etc. On the other hand, FIEM only have two specialisations in the BSc course.

To secure a seat in the BSc programme at FIEM, students must apply through the official college website, fill out the application form accurately, and pay the application fee. Selection is based on MAKAUT CET performance. Moreover, before appearing in the entrance exam, candidates must ensure that they complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education and must have studied English as one of the main subjects. Shortlisted candidates must complete document verification and fee payment to confirm admission. It's important to meet deadlines and eligibility criteria.
