To secure a seat in the BTech programme at FIEM, students must apply through the official website of the institute, fill out the application form accurately, and pay the application fee. Selection is based on JEE Mains/ WBJEE performance. Moreover, before appearing in the entrance exam, candidates must ensure that they complete their Class 12 from the Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% and must have studied English, Physics, and Mathematics as main subjects. Shortlisted candidates must complete document verification and fee payment to confirm admission. It's important to meet deadlines and eligibility criteria.

Yes, candidates can take admission in the FIEM BTech course without JEE Mains scores, because the college also accepts valid scores of WBJEE for admission to BTech courses. Therefore, applicants with valid scores in any of the following entrance exams can get admission to BTech courses. Thus, candidates can get admission with JEE Mains; however, it is not compulsory.

The college also reserves seats for candidates having scores in different entrance exams. 80% of seats are filled by qualified WBJEE candidates,  10% of seats are filled by qualified JEE (Main) candidates, and 10% of seats are allocated&nb

Currently, the admissions for the BTech course at FIEM are closed. The college opens the admission portal once the entrance examination dates have been released by its authorised bodies. Candidates who are planning to get admission into the BTech course must track the dates of releasing the JEE Mains/ WBJEE application form, Issuance of the admit card, facilitation of the mock test, dates of the exam, declaration of the results, etc.
