The following qualifying requirements must be fulfilled by applicants to be admitted to undergraduate (UG) programs at Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology (GMIT), Baruipur, Kolkata:
Fourth-year B.Tech programs
A minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must be earned in order to be eligible.
JEE Main or WBJEE are accepted entrance exams.
Second-Year Lateral Entry:
A valid engineering Diploma with at least 45% of the possible points is required.
Admissions are made based on seat availability and merit.
There are currently no postgraduate (PG) courses offered by GMIT.

A private engineering college, Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology (GMIT) is situated in Baruipur, Kolkata, West Bengal. Unless the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) offers a particular pathway or conversion course, a sociology honours graduate with a BE (Bachelor of Engineering) degree is probably not directly eligible for an M.Sc. (Master of Science) programme in Hotel Management or any related field. A bachelor's degree in a related field, like hospitality and hotel administration, is required for the majority of IHM M.Sc. programs.
