Semester exam results at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology (SVIST) are typically declared as follows:
- Odd Semesters (1st, 3rd, 5th, etc.): Exams in November–December, results in January.
- Even Semesters (2nd, 4th, 6th, etc.): Exams in April–May, results in July.

The hostel fees at the Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology are very less, i.e, only around INR 60 per month. This fee includes the electricity charges. However, the student will need to pay separate charges for the mess. There are limited seats available at the hostel.
