The admission to BA courses of WCC is merit-based. The seats are allotted to the eligible applicants based on their scores in Class 12 and their reservation category. Interested candidates have to submit their applications through the official website of the college. Once the applications are received, they will be arranged according to their merit under various categories mandated by the Tamil Nadu Government (Open category/BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST). These applications are then sent to the respective departments and the Scrutiny Committee. A merit list containing the application numbers of provisionally selected candidates will be published on the official website. Selected candidates must pay the prescribed fee to confirm their admission.

At the time of admission, shortlisted candidates must pay the fee for the first semester of BA. Non payment of the specified fee within the stipulated time may lead to the forfeiture of the provisionally allotted seat. The WCC BA fee for the first semester varies across the specialisations. The fee amount also differs across the applicant's board of education in Class 12. The range of first semester fee for BA courses at WCC is INR 22,290 - INR 39,625. It must be noted that the mentioned fee has been sourced from the official website of the college/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative. At the time of fee payment, candidates must also upload the documents listed on the provisional selection notice.

The total seat intake for BPharm is 100. Candidates must pass Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent to AIU recognised Class 12 examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as optional subjects to apply for the BPharm course. However, the students possessing Class 12 qualifications from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of states etc. shall not be eligible for admission to BPharm course. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations is accepted.

Each college has advantages and disadvantages.
